The Koret-Milken Institute Fellows Program offers 10-month fellowships to outstanding university and graduate students in Israel. Fellows enjoy the opportunity to learn from leading decision makers, business entrepreneurs and academics while performing economic policy research. Each year, fellows present their research findings at the program’s annual conference.

During the program, fellows participate in three areas of concentration:

Internships

Each fellow receives an assignment within a government ministry or in the office of a member of the Knesset. These full-time assignments are selected to coincide with the fellow’s areas of interests.

Training

Fellows enjoy weekly training sessions conducted by Israeli and foreign policy-makers, researchers and business leaders. Click here to view a partial list of past lectures.

In addition, fellows participate in a graduate level course at Hebrew University’s School of Business. Graduate students have the opportunity to receive credit for the course from Hebrew University, which may be transferable to other graduate programs. Click here to view the course syllabus.

Research

Early in their fellowships, fellows select research topics based on the Milken Institute Israel Center core research topics. In recent years, projects have addressed tax reform, urban revitalization, credit discrimination, food surpluses and insecurity, health-care innovations and employment solutions.
