Gila Weinberger
A 2011-12 fellow, Weinberger interns at the State Guarantees Department within the Accountant General's Office at the Ministry of Finance.
Prior to joining the fellows program, Weinberger was a research assistant at the Bank of Israel. During her tenure at the Research Department, Weinberger focused on macroeconomic and public policy issues such as the implementation of the earned income tax credit, statutory tax rates and macroeconomic management. In addition, Weinberger was a research assistant at the Van Leer Jerusalem Institute and a teaching assistant in the prestigious Philosophy, Economics and Political
Science Program (PEP) and the Department of Economics at the Hebrew University.
In the National Service, Weinberger served in the Ministry of Defense in Tel Aviv.
Weinberger graduated magna cum laude from the PEP Program. On her B.A. seminar
paper, she was awarded the Zack Ness Prize for Outstanding Seminar Papers in
Political Economics. She currently is pursuing a master's degree in the financial
economics honors programs at the Hebrew University.
