Maya Haran
A 2011-12 fellow, Haran interns in the Capital Markets, Insurance and Savings Division in the Ministry of Finance.
Prior to joining the fellows program, Haran worked as a research assistant in the Public Sector Division of the Bank of Israel's research department. Her work included a discussion paper on the effects of government consumption on the current account. In addition, she participated in studies of the mandatory pension law and the performance of local governments, among other topics.
In the military, Haran served in an elite intelligence unit.
Graduating with honors in 2010, she holds a B.A in economics and business administration from the Hebrew University, where she is now pursuing her master's degree in the financial economics honors program.
