2010-2011 Application Form

General instructions
  • Applications must be submitted online, and we will only consider complete submissions.
  • Please fill all fields in English.
  • If a field is not applicable to you, please write "NA" in it so we will know you read it and it does not apply to you.
  • Please gather all the information and documents you will need before you begin filling this out form (you can download a PDF version for use as you prepare). 
  • You can only upload PDF files, so please scan/save all supporting documents and attachments as PDF files. You can use any PDF writer to do this, and if you do not have a PDF writer, we recommend the following free software: http://www.cutepdf.com/products/cutepdf/Writer.asp
  • Please keep each file you upload under 2MB. The smaller the file size – the easiest it is to apply.
  • Please use high-speed internet connection when applying.
  • We strongly recommend applying early. The system gets overloaded during the last two weeks of application and you may experience technical difficulties at the last two weeks of April.

When you are ready, please fill out all required fields of this electronic form and make sure to click "submit application" when you reach the end. After you submit the application, you will be transferred to a screen with a confirmation of the submission AND you will receive an email with your application number. If you didn’t receive it, please submit your application again or contact us at: admission@kmifellows.org

If your professors prefer to send your recommendation letter directly to us, please:

  1.  They should send the letter to admission@kmifellows.org
  2. They should include your application number  in the subject line of their email
    • Please note – you will need to give them your application number that you have received from us via email after submitting your on-line application. This means you have to submit your application before they can send the recommendation letters.

5. References
Please ask one of your professors to provide you with a letter of recommendation. Please save the letter as a PDF file and upload it here. Two additional letters from either academic or professional supervisors can be added to your application (total – up to 3 letters).

7. Writing Samples
Please upload up to 20 pages of your best writing examples, in either English or Hebrew. Your sample must include research work (seminar paper, thesis, etc.) and can be complemented by additional samples of other sorts (opinion columns, articles, etc.). All samples should be combined into one document and uploaded as a PDF file. If you have different samples, you may add a cover page listing the different items included in the file. If the work was graded, please note the grade given.
